Okay highly topical post here. Before I start I want to state that these are my opinions and in no way are factual. My brain works in weird ass ways sometimes.
Okay so right now we are in the middle of a god damn pandemic and people aren’t listening to the easiest rules to ever be put in place. Literally we got told to stay inside and to wash our hands and NO ONE IS LISTENING AND IT DRIVES ME NUTS. Seriously, the world’s easiest rules to follow. My mom and I have been making masks for people for the better part of two weeks and all we’ve been thinking is why people just can’t stay inside.
I’m super anti social and introverted anyway so this doesn’t change much routine for me but I can understand why others can get a little stir crazy. You do have family though, interact with them, maybe play a board game or watch a tv show together.
Hell in the era of the internet we have lots of ways to communicate via video chat so that you can see your friends in your pajamas and not have to get up. It’s really a great thing for where we’re at right now. There’s Zoom, Skype, FaceTime, hell talking on the damn phone and texting. You may have to go shopping occasionally but a lot of stores do HOME DELIVERY NOW. You literally don’t have to leave your house.
Amazon is another great thing because you can rent or buy movies or whole ass seasons of shows and buy literally anything you can think of. Oh you can also order food to your house. UberEats, GrubHub, DoorDash, they all bring your order to your frickin door. All you have to do is get your lazy ass of the couch and answer the door.
People literally have no reason to leave the house yet there are people protesting the shelter-in-place orders because they want to like go to the movies or some shit. What’s really funny is that a lot of the places with protests are places where not a lot of shit happens. It’s actually kind of poetic that people who have nothing better to do than to sit at home all day will protest being told to do that very thing.
